In the rural region of Jharkhand, many young adults face the challenge of seeing no professional or social perspective. Our "Future Horizon" project offers these people a protected space to gain a foothold in life. We promote their resilience and give them the necessary tools (life skills) to contribute constructively to their communities.
We are currently accompanying a group of 15 young people intensively over two months. The goal is training as "Community Mentors," which includes the following priorities:
A central pillar of the project is humanitarian support. Many of our participants come from families suffering from food insecurity. To make effective learning possible at all, we ensure full supply and cook daily for around 20 people. Without this basic humanitarian foundation, the young people could not participate in the training, as they would otherwise have to work for their living.
Your donation is effective in two ways: it satisfies hunger as immediate relief and enables training for a lasting chance in life.
